Riley Joshua Marrilla, (July 27th, 2000) aka Shallow, is a YouTuber and possibly former secondary antagonist and an central antagonist in Season 4 of THE DEVIL INSIDE SERIES.

Riley (Shallow) and his friend Josh (ReverseJosh) moved into Jesse Ridgeway's house and greeted him and want to stay for a couple of nights but actually want to find out who is deckchair in the Rigid House, Riley along with his friend searched and snooped through Jesse's house to get some answers, Jesse later entered his gaming room and saw them on his laptop, which leads to Riley telling Jesse the real reason why he moved into his house and accused Jesse of being deckchair.While living in the theater in Jesse's Basement, later on, Riley meets and pull up Jeff Saxton Jr. (Swift) and decided to ask him questions to give him answers, Swift doesn't know about anything about deckchair except of him knowing about it buying StoryFire. Riley and Swift had an argument, but things got out of hand when Swift put Riley against the wall and started fighting, after that, all that was settled and became cool.While living in the theater in Jesse's Basement, later on, Riley meets and pull up Jeff Saxton Jr. (Swift) and decided to ask him questions to give him answers, Swift doesn't know about anything about deckchair except of him knowing about it buying StoryFire. Riley and Swift had an argument, but things got out of hand when Swift put Riley against the wall and started fighting, after that, all that was settled and became cool.
On the 1st day of June, Riley, Jesse, Nick, Swift, and others filmed a video, Jesse and the crew didn't take it very seriously and decided to ruin his video by torturing and bullying him. Later on in a few videos later, Riley and Josh stole Nick Rugenes's truck and run over Ashley's pool, which caused a huge fight with Riley and Nick.
On the next night, at 1AM. Jesse kicks out the two for their behavior, such as hacking into his computer, sneaking into the trunk of the car while Theresa Ridgway has tumor, and destroying the one pool. Before they leave, he forcibly asks Jesse who Deckchair is even though he doesn't want to because he might expose on the media, but Riley promises not to and just wants to know. It is cut before they leave in the dark, he is also naked.
He somehow rents a room again, this time by himself. His friend, Josh was kicked because he couldn't pay. Jeff Sr. also tells Nick to find Jesse, he also tells him to bring Swift and Riley to find him. Riley spots the Tesla Model S, Jesse and Ashley are hunting aliens and asks how did they find him, they tracked his phone. Riley tells Jesse that the house has not only gone bad but the StoryFire App has gone bad too. Once knocked down by Nick, he then picks up Jesse's phone which fell. Suddenly, an unknown number calls which turns out to be DeckChair. Riley said he heard most of the conversation.
Personality[]
Riley is a generally foul-mouthed, aggressive, short-temper, impulsive, and confrontational young boy, especially when someone denies him by saying he or she is not deckchair. Riley is shown to be particularly crude and vulgar by speaks aggressively and yells profanities. He sometimes acts hostile toward anyone he considers to be looking down on him and has been known to resort to physical violence, including throwing Emily's birthday cake in her face and getting into a fight with Nick. Riley also displays his troublemaking nature, which often leads to heated arguments with everyone, ultimately causing everyone to hate Riley and shun him.
