THE DEVIL INSIDE SERIES, also known as The Psycho Series 2, The Snapper Series, and The Real Life of Jesse Ridgway is a series created by Jesse Ridgway, that follows the story of Isaac & The Devil. Isaac is a depressed teenaged drug addict and alcoholic, with a supposed horrible life and family background, who has been transported to Jesse's world through a mirror, has to face many obstacles along the way and find true meaning in his life and how to make it happy. The Devil is an all-powerful demonic being who’s been formed out of Jesse‘s depressed emotions and plans to destroy everything he has created and loves. In Season 3, The Devil's necklace is proven to be a very powerful magical item that could summon someone's rage and anger. The necklace was worn by Jeff Ridgway after the events of Season 2 and My Virtual Escape, turning him evil, and is always angry, that led to him destroying stuff and eventually kicking out Jesse. In the events of EVICTION DAY!, Jesse takes away the necklace and leading him to wear it, causing The Devil to possess him and use his body as a vessel.
Plot
Prologue: The Collab Series
The Collab Series acts as a Prologue to The Devil Inside as it introduces Boogie2988, Angry Grandpa and KidBehindACamera to the series, but also shows YouTuber, Jesse Ridgway, double snapping at the very end with his dad, Jeff Sr. asking if he’s doing that too much. It also foreshadows Jeff Sr.'s anger. Jesse gets jealous that his long-time friend and fellow YouTuber Michael Green (KidBehindACamera), along with Angry Grandpa (Charles Green) and Michael's girlfriend Bridgette West are supposedly still getting attention for their lives more than he has got. Under the belief that Michael and his family are faking like he and his family did in the Psycho Series, Jesse and his cameraman Parker travel all the way to South Carolina to prove his theory correct. However, after failing multiple times to get Michael and his family to confess, their friendship slowly deteriorates. Not only that, but Jesse also gets his attention on Angry Grandpa's destructive behaviour.
When Jesse is later punished for doing so, he is suddenly invited for a sleepover in Arkansas by Boogie2988 (Steven Williams), another friend and YouTuber whom Jesse met at Vidcon. While Jesse and Parker are hanging out, unbeknownst to them, Boogie pretends to be a psychotic obsessed fan and attempts to force the two to play video games with him, resulting in Jesse and Parker being held captive at his house, but they luckily managed to escape. Despite the actions Boogie had committed towards Jesse and Parker, it was revealed that he wasn't really an obsessed fan that he made himself out to be in reality as he was instead acting like his characters Francis and Redneck Jesse since they don't remember meeting Jesse or Parker and that they are the ones who caused the problem. Later, uploaded on Boogie's channel, it was shown that Michael and Boogie had worked together by setting up a prank for Jesse, revealing Michael had called Boogie and forced him to invite Jesse over to his house as payback for what he did back at the Green's home.
Later, it finally leads to Psycho Dad and Angry Grandpa facing off for the first time as they both end up destroying stuff together in a poolhouse where Michael's older brother Charlie Green (Charlie Chill) was meant to be living in since he was released from jail, satisfying both Juggies and Youngins. Later, it was revealed that Angry Grandpa was terrified of Psycho Dad while Jesse and his father are having a conversation with the Greens. In the end, Jesse and his father forgive Michael and Grandpa after apologizing to the Greens for their actions towards them, settling their relationship. The next morning, Jesse farewells Michael goodbye and snaps out of character by snapping his fingers. He finally returns home to New Jersey with his father and Parker, only to find that Jeff had put his stuff in his room.
Season 1: The Snapper
After switching in and out of many characters with the ability to snap his fingers so many times for 10 years, Jesse learns that he can longer control his story-telling power. First, he tries to test and fix his snapper and eventually turns into all of his characters, including Psycho Kid, from the past, but nothing has worked. Jesse is later told by YouTuber Daym Drops to stop snapping to avoid serious and dangerous consequences if a darkness that's within him is released. However, feeling that his channel will cease to exist without snapping, Jesse snaps his fingers one last time, despite the warnings of one of his characters Tony Trevorelli and his cameraman Parker, but it ends up with him getting trapped inside a mirror down in the basement. As a result, a darker, grittier and more depressed twin counterpart of Jesse named Isaac Kalder emerges. Isaac, being his own person, has waited for a long time to escape from all the drama in his world and pretends to be Jesse in order to hide the truth. But at that moment, he has lost all of his memories and instead only has all of Jesse's memories. At first, no one knows that something is strange about "Jesse" since he is acting funny and crazy. The Psycho Series: Behind the Scenes, the props and the documentary have finally been released as Jesse had promised to the Juggies and a couple of months ago even helped by creating a story-telling app called StoryFire.
But as the weeks' progress, Isaac begins to show his true nature by doing insane, cruel and dangerous pranks, drug and alcohol usage, changing from Jesse's appearance to his true appearance (such as dyeing his hair black, piercing his own ears and a tattoo "I'm a Psychopath" getting stitched onto his back), having a bad and abusive attitude and finally kidnapping people such as Jesse's mother Theresa. During his time here in Jesse's house while it is getting redone, all of Isaac's memories are starting to come back to him while Jesse is still trapped inside the mirror as he tries to find a way to escape. Isaac starts neglecting and destroying himself such as committing suicide as well as everybody Jesse had loved, including the Juggies, his friends and his family. When everything turns from bad, to worse and finally into a living nightmare, it will be up to Jesse to come back home into his world before it is all too late, but to no avail. Now it will be up to to his brother Jeffrey Jr., their Uncle Larry, Parker, and Daym Drops (The Wizard) to stop Isaac, force him to snap back into his own world and bring back the real Jesse. They eventually succeeded when they corner Isaac in a parking lot one night. However, Jesse suddenly didn't return which made Larry, Jeffrey Jr. and Parker confused. Later that night, Jeffrey Jr. and Parker suspect that Isaac had secretly delivered the mirror containing Jesse to Boogie in Arkansas so they travel to his house to investigate.
Season 2: The Creator
Eventually, "Jesse" finally comes out the mirror with Parker and Jeffrey Jr.'s help and was able to fix Boogie's personality as well as his attitude before they head back home to New Jersey and reunite with all the people Jesse had missed. "Jesse" gets rid of Isaac's appearance and tries to pick up where he left and what he missed, Jeffrey Jr. quits his job to do YouTube and instead travels to some parking areas where he finds six colored gems in each site and Parker is finally forced to quit his job as Jesse's cameraman and instead starts making his own YouTube channel somewhere else. Later, Jeffrey Sr. has a conversation with "Jesse" by accusing him for all the actions he had committed instead of Isaac. Blaming Jesse for all the drama and cruelty he had done, Jeff Sr. decides that he has had enough with the snapping, but also is tired of being filmed after he destroys Jesse's camera. Jeff is also furious at Jeffrey Jr. for quitting his job and blames Jesse for talking his brother into it, but Jesse denies and accuses Jeff Jr. of ripping off his content.
A few days later, "Jesse" goes out of control with all of his characters while having an argument with Jeff Sr., but this causes him to immediately become a demonic doppelgänger-like entity known as "The Devil", who is also known as "The Creator". It was later shown that the actual person who came out the mirror at Boogie's house was not really Jesse, but was instead The Devil who came out after Isaac got forced back into his own realm, revealing the real Jesse is actually trapped in a secret dimension known as the "Mirror Realm". It’s also revealed that after the Psycho Series ended, Jesse became really sad that it's over and it eventually caused all of those depressed emotions to transform into The Devil. After being created, The Devil would then go on to create Isaac, revealing that he possessed the latter and used Isaac as his pawn to destroy everything in Jesse's universe including his loved ones, turning his life into a misery. It also shows that The Devil wields a mysterious and powerful necklace secretly being given to him by Ursula after he transported into The Spirit of Ursula world and had a conversation with Ursula that if she wants to become alive again since she is now dead, she needs to have two people drink from a poison stream from where she resides, thus making The Devil responsible for the events of The Spirit of Ursula series. Since now that The Devil resembles Jesse, he needs a new cameraman in order to create new content due to Parker leaving the channel. So he decided to create a MJN Cameraman Competition, where a couple of Juggies will audition and be selected based on their quality to compete against each other in order to win and be the new cameraman of The Devil. As The Devil holds the competition with Jeffrey Jr. and Uncle Larry, a famous YouTuber named Michael McCrudden gets his attention. He tracks him down for a negative talk about Jesse's family to find out if Michael was a disappointed creator and fan behind everything, but they however talked it out afterwards.
After winning a Streamy Award for the documentary, The Devil has chosen six of the cameraman contestants to come at the Ridgway Residence in order to compete. However, his ways of training are tough and questionable, and he even shows that he hates being disobeyed and questioned about himself and the content. The Devil is also shown to be vulnerable and immortal to the six gems that Jeffrey Jr. had found and in need to get rid of them any way he can. However, he is suddenly stalked by a mysterious hooded figure with a mirror for a face known as the "Mirror Man" for the last two months, who actually turns out to be the real Jesse in disguise. It was revealed that Jesse had learned a special technique while still trapped in the Mirror Realm and used it to finally transport back into his own world, but nobody even knew it at the same time. The Devil gets revenge on Jesse by ruining and destroying everything at any cost including all of Jesse's characters and connections to their realms with the help of a brainwashed Jeffrey Sr. and demanding to hear a story about Isaac. Fortunately, Jesse shoots and apparently kills The Devil for good in order to save the last two remaining cameramen and to also prevent The Devil from destroying anything or anyone else in his path.
Afterwards, Jesse mourns for the loss of his characters, especially his favourite Psycho Kid before throwing away all the destroyed mirrors that The Devil and Jeff Sr. caused. When Jesse comes back into his house, his father tells him he got a package, but Jesse is confused and tells Jeffrey Sr. that he never ordered anything. Jeff Sr. suddenly starts to become like Psycho Dad, but before Jesse can succeed in snapping his father out of his character, The Devil, revealed to be still alive in Jesse's mind after his physical form was killed, possesses him. Frightened, Jesse flees to his room where he glances at the remains of Psycho Kid: a picture of him crying out in Switzerland after he was finally free. He then goes to the Abraham Residence to find Uncle Larry packing away everything from his channel. Jesse becomes sad of this after learning that Larry is quitting YouTube for a while and heard that Jeffrey Jr. is quitting as well due to him not getting enough views and decided to go back to his job as an accountant. Jesse wants to give up as well and go back into hiding, but Uncle Larry and Jeff Jr. warn him not to snap back into the mirror and become Isaac again.
When Jesse later opens the package he received, he finds the same mirror that he was trapped inside before. The Devil, having transferred his soul into the necklace, confronts Jesse and orders him to snap back into Isaac. However, Jesse refused and tosses the necklace away after remembering that Psycho Kid still didn't give up and lived for the Juggies long enough when the Psycho Series ended. Later, Jeff Sr. finds the necklace on the pool table and puts it on, causing The Devil to possess him. In the meantime, Jeff Saxton Jr. (SwiftUAV) becomes Jesse's new cameraman after Parker's departure and Jesse, with none of his other characters left (except Isaac) and with Theresa's insistence, begins making a new series called "My Virtual Escape", which tells Isaac's story and that he stars as the main character of the series. On December 21st 2017, Jesse announces that he, with the help of a writer called Mike Grimm, 512 Kickstarter Juggies and Boogie, came up with an idea to continue the Psycho Series by putting it in a graphic novel using Psycho Kid's remains and continuing his story. In this sequel since after the events of the Psycho Series, Jesse is now living his life in Switzerland after killing his father and fleeing New Jersey. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to him, Jesse's cousin Tom resurrects Psycho Dad, who vows revenge on his son for his murder and now plots to kill him as payback for what Jesse did to him, but this was later resolved thanks to Talon, Jesse's new pet eagle, blinding Tom and pushed him into a portal to his presumed death before saving Jesse and Psycho Dad from dying on an island. Afterwards, Jesse returns to New Jersey and was able to move back into his old house which had now been dilapidated and ruined since after murdering his dad and fleeing to Switzerland. He, with the encouragement from the Juggies, manages to reconcile with his family, especially with his father, except Uncle Larry, who has committed suicide by drowning in an ocean instead of helping Jesse and Psycho Dad escape.
Season 3: The Necklace
Seven months later after My Virtual Escape finally ended, the entire cast celebrate in Hawaii. However, The Devil, infuriated for not having Isaac's story told the way he wanted it to be and realizing that Psycho Kid's story is still continuing as the Psycho Series graphic novel will be released soon, made Jeffrey Sr. tackle and attack Jesse while he is talking to the Juggies on the beach. However, Jeffrey Jr. and Uncle Larry come to Jesse's aid by holding off Jeff Sr. while Jesse yanks off the necklace his father is wearing and chucks it into the ocean, never to be presumably seen again. Later, Jesse talks about that he is now feeling better since he finished completing My Virtual Escape and there isn't a darkness to him anymore. His cameraman Swift almost snaps, but Jesse and Larry stop him before he could, showing that they haven't fully recovered from what happened with Isaac. In the next few videos, the MVE cast members are finally home, but as Jesse tries to snap once again, Swift stops him. Jesse also mentions that there is a most dangerous and powerful snap that they have left to see in existence.
After Jesse and some of the cast members come home from Vidcon and just recently hold a live show to celebrate the ending of the series, a redeemed Isaac thanks Jesse for making his life happy again with his sister still alive and well alongside their family and friends. Jesse also thanks Isaac for being a perfect example to those who have tragic backstories as well as family issues and for giving him a chance to prove himself that he is a great storyteller. However, Isaac somehow founded the necklace and insisted that Jesse should take it, thinking he wanted it back. Luckily, Jesse immediately refused, thinking The Devil will return and possess him again, deciding that he wants Isaac to keep the necklace away from him instead. Afterwards, Isaac leaves and Jesse is now happy and ready to help boost his YouTube channel back up again while he is also ready for new challenges and stories.
Since that event, The Devil or the necklace are nowhere to be seen, leaving The Devil's fate a mystery. But as the weeks start to go by, Jeff Sr. is suddenly starting to act like Psycho Dad by suffering anger problems, but now has turned a lot much furious than his role in the Psycho Series as it causes him to do chaotic things, including dumping Jesse and Jeffrey Jr.'s kites into someone else's swimming pool during their family vacation, punching his own TV, completely demolishing his own basement walls, tearing apart and shredding the graphic novel after it is fully released, destroying an Amazon Alexa that Jesse had given to his family on Christmas Day and smashing a computer belonging to Domenic "Dom" Maisto, a YouTuber who starred in My Virtual Escape and once became Jesse's cameraman due to him firing Swift for messing around with Angry Grandpa's dream car which led to Swift working for Jeffrey Jr. until Dom later became the editor when Jesse rehired Swift after he was fired by Jeff Jr. during a smoke grenade incident. This is also because of Jeff Sr. being lied all the time and that the fact people like Jesse, Jeffrey Jr., Swift and Dom always keep disrespecting him and his stuff such as saying that he hates being filmed everyday since Jeff Sr. doesn't like the camera in his face, his lawnmower seat getting busted up as well as his lawnmower being painted pink, Jesse using his TV without permission while he was watching a wrestling match between Logan Paul and KSI with his friends, looking like a deranged idiot in the graphic novel, Jeffrey Jr. quitting his job again and trying to hide it, Jesse letting other people such as fans arrive and break into his property in which an incident happened with Boogie (whom Jeff Sr. believed to be a fan) when he came to the Ridgway Residence wanting to get the graphic novel which led to him becoming unhinged by freaking out Jesse's family and finally Dom living in the Ridgway Trailer without permission, resulting in him leaving due to being traumatized by Jeff Sr.'s actions and cutting ties with Jesse, who originally planned to have Dom become the editor of his YouTube channel and also have him as the partner of Swift. This also might have presumably been due to Jesse forgetting to snap Jeff Sr. out of his character after taking the necklace off his father or it might have been due to Jeff Sr. wearing it for a while. It is also later shown that Jesse is again having problems with his characters and that The Devil's necklace mysteriously returns to him while he was on a skiing trip with his high school friends in the beginning of 2019, revealing The Devil Inside Series is still not over.
Later, Jesse and Jeffrey Jr. are both evicted from the Ridgway household by their father after Jesse is forced to sign in an eviction agreement that he will agree to move out and buy a new house due to him not living in Los Angeles because he lied about it to his family while at the same time dealt with a party full of YouTubers led by Miguel Mendez in the Ridgway poolhouse. While Jesse is packing his stuff ready to move out, he is shown packing up The Devil's necklace. Sometime later, it was revealed The Devil is apparently "gone" as Jesse now embraces his presence and they write for as well as with each other. "Jesse" revealed the necklace contained no more magic, but Swift is still worried about getting his guts ripped out again while at the fact that "Jesse" is hiding something, showing it was revealed that he had stolen and hidden a bag full of money which actually belonged to a mafia gang that he secretly found. One month later after he and his brother move into their new house, "Jesse" is shown still wearing the necklace, but nothing is happening so far as others knew he is about to do something evil while that the fact Jesse is starting to become really abusive and cruel towards other people.
However, during a housewarming party, it was somehow revealed that Jesse has disappeared, showing that it was actually The Devil himself as he has once again returned and this time possessing Jesse by having his soul transferred into his body through the necklace. Even though "Jesse" said that he was using the necklace to embrace the darkness and that The Devil writes for him, it is likely that The Devil is lying or has double crossed Jesse and imprisoned him in the Mirror Realm again. During the party, the bag of money that The Devil had hidden is suddenly stolen by an unknown person and Joe, a mobster who works for the mafia, is searching for it while The Devil, having found out that the bag is missing, berates the party guests for stealing it as he wants to know who took it. Sometime later, The Devil hosts another MJN Cameraman Competition with Jeffrey Jr., Michael Green, Brian Spitz and Uncle Larry where he hires more Juggies to be selected and later invites them over to his house in order to compete and become the winner while also be able to let them live in his new house. After many phrases in which many others are kicked out of the competition, it eventually leads to the final round where two contestants are forced by The Devil to violently fight each other to the death in an epic battle to prove who will win and become The Devil's cameraman. Meanwhile, Tom, who was among the many contestants of the competition, decides to quit as he will not be signing in a contract and not serve as The Devil's cameraman. In the end, Jesse's old friend and original ex-cameraman Corn, who previously quit his job working with Jesse after the Psycho Series ended and went on to work as a prison guard in California but now has reunited with Jesse after two years, eventually becomes the winner of the competition and now serves as the new cameraman of The Devil, while Swift leaves to get a job as a firefighter after deciding to quit as cameraman earlier.
After searching for the stolen bag of money that has been finally found as it was revealed that Boogie was actually the one who took it during the housewarming party and rescuing Karen McCreery, a woman from a place called Castle Real Estate whom Joe and the mafia had kidnapped while she was interrogating Jesse's family and others from the party about the bag of money, it eventually leads into a showdown between The Devil, Jeffrey Jr., the Rugenus Squad (three brothers and fellow YouTubers consisting of Nick, Javi and Jason who became Jesse's roommates after they moved into his house), Jeff Sr. and the mafia led by Joe, who raids The Devil's house wanting for the money, even though it was revealed that the bag of money was spent by Jeff Sr. to buy and own the house. Although Jeff Sr. kills Joe while he was holding Karen hostage, it also resulted in Corn getting shot in the process and taken to hospital, but then kicked out afterwards as Jeff Sr. starts paying him rent since he and Corn have become old enemies again just like in the Psycho Series, leading to The Devil to film alone upon seeing that Corn is no longer the cameraman and done working for him. However, Jesse, having been gone for a long time since The Devil had taken his place, returns by regaining control over his body and after paying his father rent by giving him the remaining money that he took out of the bag so that Jeff Sr. will not have his house, he has a final confrontation with The Devil. Afterwards, Jesse cuts ties with The Devil and casts him aside by throwing away the necklace into a cornfield before imprisoning The Devil back inside the mirror in his bedroom to prevent him from returning to Jesse's world as he will remain trapped in the mirror for his crimes and for all eternity. As for the next couple of months, Jesse is on a mission worldwide to find and assemble millions of creators, fans and YouTubers alike to StoryFire in order to make it the best platform in the entire world.
Season 4: The Truth
After a long time, Jesse fully returns from his break and attempts to continue making some more series which includes his brand new Tesla Model S getting stolen, trying to prevent his house from being sold by his father after Jesse didn't want it at first since he came back from his trip when Jeff Sr. asked him to have his house back by attempting to force Jesse to sign in the papers, fans arriving and attempting to buy his house, a Christian named Bill Jensen showing up in search of Jeff Sr. whom he believed to be Psycho Dad and finally him and Brian being tracked down by Google as they struggling to hide. Jesse also reveals that he will be making a brand new project which was building a movie theatre down in the basement while at the same time quitting YouTube at the beginning of next year due to its polices changing. During this time, Jesse hires one of the Rugenus brothers, Nick, who previously quit the MJN Cameraman Competition, as his new cameraman due to Corn quitting again after the events of the mafia incident when he got shot by Joe. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Jr. starts making exposed videos about Jesse and his new series being fake, but they, along with their dad, Nick, Corn, Michael and Ashley, a college student whom Jesse met during his family vacation and became his new girlfriend after his former one broke up with him, eventually buried the hatchet.
Before a Halloween party, Jesse had however got the necklace back and ends up going crazy again by starting to act like The Devil, revealing he had escaped from the mirror and possessed Jesse again through the necklace. During the party, Jesse is hesitant to give it up at first, but Brian, Nick and the rest of the party guests managed to snap him out of it and help Jesse by convincing him to finally kill The Devil by having the necklace thrown into a fire to prevent anyone from finding it or getting their hands on it ever again before he also smashes the mirror leading to the Mirror Realm, destroying it in the process as well as causing every world connected and every character residing inside to be erased from existence. As a result, The Devil, the necklace and the Mirror Realm no longer exist as all three of them are now completely destroyed for good, ending The Devil's reign of terror forever. It was also revealed on the day Jesse went on his two month trip that the reason Jeff Sr. has turned angry since My Virtual Escape ended is caused by the effects of the necklace which caused him to act like Psycho Dad under The Devil's instructions and also turned him evil since The Devil can use the necklace to unleash someone's anger and rage that summons their own Devil inside, making them more destructive, abusive and violent. Now that The Devil, along with the Mirror Realm and the necklace, is gone for good, Jeff Sr. has finally calmed down since he has redeemed himself by becoming his nice and friendly self again like when he started to think the graphic novel is amazing, doesn't mind being filmed and even created his own social media accounts, officially marking the end of The Devil Inside Series and allowing Jesse to once again continue doing his real-life vlogging with his family and friends.

Psycho Episodes
Trivia
- This is the first series to have some videos on StoryFire.
- The audience doesn't see Isaac's true colors or even know he's not the real Jesse Ridgway until the video, THE DARKEST CUT!, and from that point on.
- There are two Psycho Episodes that are the same title, and the episodes are: Psycho Dad Breaks Camera and PSYCHO DAD BREAKS CAMERA!
- This series was originally titled Snapper Mini-Series and only had a playlist of 7 episodes.
- As of July 10th, 2017, Jesse Ridgway has created a playlist of THE DEVIL INSIDE SERIES, beginning at ON TRIAL FOR KILLING MY FATHER! The Devil Inside series has not ended yet as McJuggerNuggets' recent videos about The Devil (Isaac's creator and father) are now being added to The Devil Inside series playlist, and could perhaps feature the return of Isaac. But after The devil aside., it’s been updated yet again.
- Psycho Dad has a second appearance in the series in the devil outside., his first appearance being in SNAP OUT OF IT!
- The series will return to the continuation of Isaac's story.
- The COLLAB SERIES is canon to this series with Boogie and Parker recalling the events and still not liking each other. But that issue is late resolved thanks to “Jesse”.
- In the second season, the series is shown to have somewhat of a connection with THE SPIRIT OF URSULA SERIES!, with Ursula making a deal with The Devil and the appearance of the six gems; The Devil is also whom Ursula learned the monkey curse from as she used it on Jesse & Larry in 11:34 (PART 1).
- The series has its own spinoff series that tells Isaac's story called, My Virtual Escape, which is currently premiering on StoryFire & YouTube.
- Close to the end of the series, It is revealed that The Devil resurrected Psycho Dad with one of the gems he had gathered when he entered Psycho Kid's Realm and Other Worlds. This results in Jesse making and releasing the Psycho Series Graphic Novel. The novel continues where The Psycho Series left off, where Psycho Kid battles the guilt of killing his father and surprisingly... his father himself, again.
- There are multiple fan made series based off of the series.
