XP is a power-up item in the virtual-reality game called E.V.E. from the My Virtual Escape Series. It is a numerous amount of very small, colored, and edible crystals, a colored portion of which is sealed inside a very small, plastic bag. The XP is crucial to a player's journey throughout the game.
Features
- When eaten by a player, the XP grants extra stamina, experience, and can even heal minor and severe injuries.
- The XP colors come in red, orange, light-blue, emerald-green, pink, purple, and white.
- Throughout the game, every player has to fight and do anything he or she can to retrieve XP and level up, such as stealing, raiding, looting, deal-making, trading, and collecting.
- When XP gives a player experience and increases his or her rank, the new rank/level is shown by a mark on the player's wrist, usually in Roman numerals. The levels are in order: "I, II, III, IV..." and so on; the highest rank is the double question mark: "??"
- However, there is only so much XP that can be consumed because a player can easily overdose if he or she consumes way too much and the results are unpredictable.

- The XP works almost like steroids and also like the sensu beans from the Dragon Ball series.
- The M.V.E. series creator & director, Jesse Ridgway, used Pop Rocks crunchy candy as XP for this series.
